
Although there are many resources that the building offers organizations and groups, the individual also can find a place at the Danforth University Center.
Nooks and crannies of quiet study space, free wireless internet throughout the building, an infant nursing room, open courtyards, rocking chairs, and even a fire pit offer unique spaces for each individual.
Advertising:
The DUC is a highly trafficked building on the Washington University in St. Louis campus. You can take advantage of this by utilizing one of the many advertising methods available in the building. Click here for more information.

Infant nursing room:
Located on the third floor, the private infant nursing room offers a comfortable chair, a sink, adjustable lighting, and some educational information and tips for nursing mothers. The room is available for use during building hours. There is no need to schedule a time for use.
Student Media Services:
Located in the Danforth University Center & Event Management Office (DUC 322), Student Media Services provides basic audio and video equipment on campus for non-class activities. Student Media Services assists students, faculty, and staff with their audio and video needs at a centralized location for a minimal cost. Parking:
The DUC stands above a three-story underground parking garage. The garage provides 522 total parking spaces for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The parking garage is operated by the University’s Parking and Transportation Services and the fees, policies and procedures that apply to it are available on their Web site: parking.wustl.edu.
Piano:
A Steinway grand piano is located in the Goldberg Formal Lounge on the second floor of the DUC. If you are interested in playing the piano, please contact the DUC & Event Management Office at 314.935.5234.
Print Station:
The DUC has a public print station available at the South Information Desk, through which documents can be printed via the campus network.
HOW TO USE WUSTL PRINT:
1. Go to the STS website (sts.wustl.edu)
2. On the left hand side you will see a menu list, click on “Get Connected”
3. Then click “Printing”
4. Now click on “WUSTLPrint”
5. Click on the link for the proper Operating System
The printer will appear offline until you sign into it via the website. It does not leave the connection open all the time. Once you have signed in you can then print.

Public computers:
Check your email, Facebook, or your latest assignment on one of seven public computers located on the first and second floors of the DUC. Computers are free and available for use during building hours. Printers are currently not available.
The Danforth University Center Recording Studio (the “Studio”) is a professional recording studio located in the Paul and Angel Harvey Media Center on the third floor. The Studio is equipped with a Pro Tools 7.4.2 audio workstation and a twenty-four channel Digidesign board, which may be utilized to record voiceover work, bands, choirs, etc.
Showers:
The DUC provides two public showers for use by those who choose to commute to work or school by bike or excercise on breaks between classes or meetings. The showers are available until 15 minutes before the building closes. Please be prepared with your own toiletries and towels. The showers are cleaned nightly and anything left in the area will be disposed of.
Wireless Internet:
Wireless Internet is available throughout the DUC. For instructions about accessing the connection please see one of three information desks located on the first and second floors of the building.
